Harishankar is an Indian audio engineer/mixer/audio faculty who is currently based in Cochin, South India. He graduated in audio engineering & started his career as recording engineer at “My Studio”, a recording studio of great repute and well known in the movie industry. Currently he is pursuing his career as a mix and mastering engineer at his new found facility Aural Alchemy Productions. He has worked with many movie production houses, advertising companies, independent artists and bands. Harishankar’s passion in life to make quality music has helped in working with many renowned musicians & artists. His ear for sound and perfectionist demeanor makes him see that no time is ever wasted and the final results are nothing short of breath taking. He has done extensive work in all genres of music.

Harishankar also has an interesting profile as a stereo Mixing /Mastering engineer. His work in "Angamali Diaries", "Solo", "Hridayam", "Home", and "The Priest" has won him accolades & has helped to establish him in the film industry. His association as a Mixing/mastering engineer with the composers/producers like ML Ousepachan, M Jayachandran, Rahul Raj, Prashant Pillai, Shaan Rahman, Hesham Abdul Wahab, Ranjin Raj, Rahul Subramaniyam, and Shankar Sharma has been recognized & appreciated.

Harishankar’s discography as a music recording engineer showcases more than 350 Malayalam movies and several non film projects.He has recorded many accomplished singers/artists in the South Indian industry. DR. K.J yesudas, K.S Chithra, Usha Uthup, Vijay yesudas, Unnimenon, Haricharan, Karthik, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Sachin Warrier,Jyotsna Radhakrishnan are some of the artists he has recorded. He has also recorded some of the finest & most amazing instrumentalists in the music field.His association with some of the legendary music directors/producers like ML. Ousepachan, M. Jayachandran, Rahul Raj, Deepak Dev, Prashant Pillai, Mejjo Joseph, Rajesh Murugeshan, Sanjeeve Thomas, Shaan Rahman has given him a wide spectrum of experience in the South Indian film industry.

Harishankar also has significant experience in the world of academics. He runs an online learning platform called The audio swot, which provides short term workshops in various disciplines of audio engineering. He is also a faculty member at NHQ, one of the finest audio engineering institutions in India.
